People
Since its foundation in 1975, Pernod Ricard has always considered its greatest asset to be the men and women around the world who have built its success and created added value for its activities. Pernod Ricard is enriched by their cultural diversity and is determined to preserve it.
- Empowerment
Pernod Ricard's organization is decentralized to allow room for initiative, professional fulfilment and personal responsibility, within the framework of a rigorous common code of conduct. Accordingly, Pernod Ricard subsidiaries have a high degree of autonomy. - Profit sharing
The majority of the Group's subsidiaries have set up an incentive compensation plan that varies in relation to personal performance and/or company performance. Furthermore, a stock options programme links executive compensation directly to the performance of the companies they manage, thus encouraging the creation of value for shareholders. - Employee retention
The quality of human relations and of the work environment, the level of employee benefits and the company's profit sharing policy have fostered a high degree of employee loyalty. Average seniority is in excess of ten years (more than sixteen years in France), and the average employee age is 40. The result is a level of experience and expertise that adds value to Pernod Ricard in return. - Training
Throughout the world, our employees (who are recruited locally at all levels) participate in training programmes that are set up by each subsidiary. Pernod Ricard also has its own training centre ("Centre de Formation") that each year organizes dozens of training sessions for several hundred international executives.
