Michael Page Offshore: there?s no tax in paradise.

Training and career development

Our business is dependent upon the skills of our recruitment consultants and we therefore invest heavily in their training and career development. We offer a structured training programme that is unrivalled within the recruitment industry and opportunities for internal promotion that are the envy of any company.

Training

Our skills based training has always been a key strength, particularly given the experience and passion of the Directors who run the training programmes. As the business has evolved we have added a greater variety of formal training, self development, coaching, mentoring and performance enhancing development activities for employees at all levels. Although we are continually reviewing and enhancing our personal development activities we are proud of the feedback and enthusiasm we now receive from employees on the subject of training and of course the progress and results they achieve.

Our training solutions are as far reaching as our range of businesses and cover skills based, mindset and management/leadership training. We utilise our considerable internal resources and experience, which means internal leaders take absolute ownership for developing their people. However, we also invest considerably in the expertise of external organisations in many areas.

Career development

At Michael Page International we actively encourage our employees to be ambitious and to take as much responsibility as their expertise allows. This enables our recruitment consultants to grow constantly and offers regular opportunities for career progression.

That's why the 2005 edition of ‘Britain's Top Employers', compiled by The Corporate Research Foundation (CRF), and published by The Guardian, listed Michael Page International as the UK's number one company in its "Promotion and Benefits" category, for its solid track record of fast-tracking where appropriate and recognising excellence where it exists.

Uniquely, of our 63 Directors/Managing Directors in the UK, 59 were ‘home' grown. Of our 206 managers in the UK, 195 were home grown. We believe our track record in training and personal development therefore speaks volumes.
