Advisory Compliance Officer - AVP/VP

Ensure staff act in accordance with regulatory requirements by providing advice on all applicable laws and regulations; Identification and management of relevant regulatory issues arising in the GTB business; Build and maintain transparent relationships with the GTB business line; Monitor key regulatory changes and ensure that the GTB business is notified; Ensure GTB staff are adequately trained in line with regulatory requirements and annual training objectives; Ensure familiarity with GTB products and keep updated on relevant industry compliance issues and solutions. Principle Responsibilities: Development and Maintenance of Compliance policies and procedures; Provision of advice and assistance on application of rules and policies for specific GTB transactions and general business activities based on an understanding of GTB business strategies; Provision of advice to Global Business Services; Ensure advice is in accordance with GTB regulatory requirements and Group local/global policies and procedures are followed; Provide effective communication of key regulatory changes to the business; Partner with GTB business lines to write procedures and compliance policy and procedure manuals. Incorporate regulatory change into advice; Partner with other control functions and central Compliance (including but not limited to Audit, Operations, Legal, MSI) when matters of common or collateral concern arise; Handle and assist in routine regulatory reviews; Review new business initiatives for consistency with regulatory requirements and provide advice to the business on achieving compliance; Assist the GTB business in establishing their policies and procedures and Key Operating Procedure (KOP's) to avoid regulatory and reputational risk; Participate in projects, practise groups and initiatives as required; Working closely with Business Managers, IT and Operations on regulatory issues; This role is based in Dublin however the individual will also assist colleagues in the wider UK / Ireland Region offices from time to time.

Who we're looking for
Significant experience in the financial industry within compliance, legal or regulatory functions, or in a transactional capacity with a investment advisor or investment company; Good understanding of finance industry, GTB business, and Funds industry and associated regulations; Minimum undergraduate degree or equivalent; an advanced degree is a plus; Previous experience of working in a GTB environment; a good understanding of GTB related products and related regulation; Superior investigative skills and knowledge of AML laws/regulatory requirements; Ability to effectively collaborate with multiple stakeholders including legal, internal audit, risk management and other internal business partners.
