Job Role
As a Senior Analyst, you will work on different areas, ranging from Accounting to Treasury, Legal and Tax matters. Your responsibilities will be the following:
- Being in charge of the US GAAP accounting for the growing number of Luxembourgish entities
- Preparing the statutory accounting in accordance with Luxembourg GAAP for the local entities
- Reviewing the accounts of different branches for the purpose of consolidation into the Luxembourgish entities
- Maximizing shareholder value by effectively executing complex tax and treasury transactions
- Reconciling bank accounts and other balance sheet accounts
- Actively participating in the quarterly reporting
- Assisting in the preparation of the budget to actual and balance sheet analyses on a period basis
- Interacting with third party service providers (i.e. auditors, tax advisors, management company, etc.)
- Keeping the legal files (i.e. board resolutions, meeting minutes, etc.) up-to-date for each of the Luxembourgish entities
- Preparing monthly VAT returns and helping in the preparation of the income tax returns for all applicable local entities
- Preparing the US tax packages for the Luxembourgish entities
Who we're looking for
- You have a degree in Accounting or Finance
- You have audit and/or financial reporting experience
- You have good technical knowledge: USGAAP and Lux GAAP, Tax and treasury basics
- You are fluent in English
- You possess good IT skills (Excel, consolidation softwares, ERP)
- You have good organisational skills, can prioritise and be multitask
- You are a team player, good-humored and want to learn and progress
- You have excellent communication (written & oral) and interpersonal skills and are at ease in fast-moving multicultural environments
- You can work under pressure, be proactive & meet deadlines
About our client
For one of our international clients, a fortune 500 company, leader in their field, we are looking for a Senior Analyst. Their primary responsibility will be to ensure timely, complete and accurate accounting and reporting of the Luxembourgish legal entities (management and statutory reporting) and of the related party transactions.
The Luxembourg Team is responsible for the US GAAP and statutory accounting and reporting of its 7 assigned legal entities, including implementation and maintenance of tax and treasury transactions.
