This unique role in Dublin reporting directly to the group's MD and the successful candidate will play a key strategic role in the development of the organisation. This successful company has a guaranteed pipeline of new business for at least the next 5 years and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to take their career to highest level.
1/ Underwriting rules and policies:
• Participate in the definition of the underwriting rules
• Assess conditions for technical feasibility of marketing/product solutions
• Draft / validate technical notes by product and by type of risk
• Contribute to build/modify the product offer (contracting, new guarantees)
• Prepare and review the underwriting reports for the head office
• Monitor legal and regulation frameworks
• Review contractual documents

2/ Claim Management

Third party administrators:
• Review service level agreements for TPA's
• Review current and future requirements and the selection of potential TPA 's to meet those requirements
• On-site meetings and audits
• Review periodic reports ensuring reserve adequacy
• Monitor the development of case reserves
• Provide opinion on questionable / difficult claims
• Ensure drawings from claim funds and bank accounts are in accordance with the service level agreement.
Claims Analysis
• Define key indicators and liaise with underwriting and actuarial
• Manage the claim analyst: define and update strategy.
• Define and manage claims handling rules.

Compliance
• Ensure that the claims processes are compliant with the various regulatory requirements.
• Review and update the Claims Manual and ensure best practices are entered.

Reporting
• Report claim developments and underwriting tendencies to Senior Management
Notification and follow up on reported claims and preparation

Who we're looking for
• 5-10 years Risk Manager experience in Life and Non Life
• Be able to create and write policy documents
• Fluent in French and another European language an advantage
