• As Compliance Assistant reporting into the Compliance Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the business in various European markets, to ensure that they meet the requirements as set out by the relevant regulatory bodies. Based in Dublin 2, your role will include:

• Compliance input required for each country
• Develop and implement sampling processes for proposed countries eg. agent vetting, partial/early surrenders, risk based aml and complaints
• To understand local and Irish anti money launderingrequirements
• Identify relevant complaints regime and implement sampling process
• Identify code of conduct rules
• Inform business of changes in aml law and answer queries in business
• Ensuring any issues/breaches that are identified by monitoring and are remedied effectively
• To ensure the company's cross-border compliance monitoring is effective and kept up to date
• To ensure that compliance reports are compiled in a timely and efficient manner

Who we're looking for
As a Compliance Assistant you will have the following:

• Solid 2-3 years experience in a compliance role, with exposure to cross border/European markets
• Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft word and excel
• Excellent reporting and presentation skills
• Strong communication, interpersonal, problem solving and organisational skills
• Ability to effectively prioritise workloads and work to critical deadlines
