Derivatives Manager

To manage Derivatives team and service to our clients by ensuring all exchange traded (ETD) and over the counter (OTC) derivative instruments are reconciled, valued and accounted for correctly within the fund accounting system and that all required reconciliation, monitoring and reporting requirements are carried out in a timely manner.

Manage a large team as a section within a time pressured department.

Who we're looking for
?X Experience of managing and delivering with a large team is essential
?X Derivatives accounting experience (OTC and ETD) is essential
?X Derivatives operations background is preferable
?X Experience and ability to work flexibly across multiple tasks and projects
?X Experience of derivatives reporting is essential
?X Experience of Client focussed communication and relationship building
?X Experience of working with derivatives valuation and information providers would be advantageous. E.g. Reech, GlobeOp, SDI etc
?X Experience in the use and interaction with some of the more common Fund Accounting systems e.g. Invest One or MultiFonds would be a distinct advantage
?X Substantial (> 5 years) post qualification experience and being thoroughly comfortable with operating at VP level is essential
