As Country Accountant to be based in Dublin, you will be within an accounting team that is split into a number of different teams. Being part of a Shared Service Centre, you will be responsible for closing the books each month, reporting the numbers to the heads of the business and will be involved in a number of key strategic projects. Your responsibilities will be:
• Business Performance Measurement
• Ensure US GAAP accounts are completed accurately and in accordance with monthly close calender
• Perform detailed analytical review of BS and P&L month on month, quarter on quarter, year on year
• Proactive approach in identifying, escalating and resolving accounting issues
• Effective monthly tracking of reporting issues and driving resolution
• Develop and maintain proactive working relationships
• Review nominated balance sheet reconciliations
• Plan work load effectively to ensure that month end is delivered accurately and in full
Who we're looking for
Being a qualified ACA/ACCA or CIMA qualified accountant, you must have 2-3 years post qualified experience, together with the following:
• Experience in dealing with senior management
• Experience in working to tight deadlines
• Excellent excel skills
• Excellent analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills
