My client; a prestigious and well respected, Edinburgh based fund management organisation is looking to recruit 10 associates across 4 job areas.
The Billing Associate is part of the EMEA Fees team which invoices approximately 3,000 invoices quarterly valued at over £80 million. Many of these invoices involve client structures requiring complex invoice calculations including performance fees and this role must be able to interpret the client's legal agreements to ensure the invoice is calculated within the current agreed methodology. The billing process uses a billing system called Advantage, which calculates invoices automatically post client set up, however, all data within the invoice needs to be validated carefully to core systems to ensure all data and calculations are accurate.
The Senior Financial Accountant is part of the Corporate Control team and reports to the EMEA Corporate Control Manager. The role is instrumental in the monthly reporting to New York for the EMEA regional results, involving analysis and understanding of over 70+ legal entities as a whole (Balance Sheet & Profit & Loss). Responsibilities will include owning various cross-regional areas of accounting including the Corporate Investment Portfolio, Investments in Subsidiaries and Reserves, as well as a selection of Control functions.
The Senior Financial Accountant will report to the European Financial Reporting Manager and act as entity controller for a number of legal entities including the large operations in Ireland. They will be responsible for the integrity of the P&L and Balance Sheet. This will involve key monthly analytics to aid internal US GAAP management reporting as well as production of quarterly board reports and regulatory returns as well as annual statutory accounts under local GAAP.
The Mutual Fund Revenue Accountant will report to the Head of EMEA Fund Revenues and will be responsible for the revenue postings on a legal basis of entities within the Investment Management business in the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region. This includes the review and control of Mutual Funds revenue bookings to the general ledger and associated account reconciliations with heavy focus on building, maintaining, and validating models to ensure timely and accurate validation of data from providers. Contributing to the monthly close process by providing revenue estimates andactual variance analysis.
Who we're looking for
The Successful candidate will preferably have a background within fund management though this is not essential.
An essential part of the roles will be good communication with the Global Client Group and other parts of Finance, so a highly professional standard of conduct is expected at all times.

What's on offer
Basic salaries ranging from €38,000 - €48,000 plus excellent benefits and bonus
