There are 4 director level roles across different areas of the business. These roles will include but are not limited to:
Head of EMEA Financial Reporting
The Head of EMEA Financial Reporting will report to the EMEA Controller and be responsible for a team of approximately 12 people, split between the UK team and the European team. The team members will act as entity controllers for a number of UK and European legal entities and therefore be responsible for the integrity of the P&L and Balance Sheet. This will involve key monthly analyses to aid internal US GAAP management reporting as well as production of statutory accounts and regulatory returns (including consolidated) under local GAAP. Developing strong relationships with other parts ofthe company(e.g. Tax, Regulatory, Accounting Policy both in the UK and the US) and external auditors will be key to the role.
EMEA Controller
The EMEA Controller reports to the Managing Director of General Accounting and is responsible for a team of approximately 25 professional staff across Financial Reporting, Pensions Reporting, Corporate Control and Transfer Pricing. This role is a key member of the Edinburgh management team and will provide strategic vision and leadership across the Controllers' Group function. Strong peer relationships will be required with General Accounting, Revenues, Accounting Policy, Tax, Regulatory Policy as well as external auditors. The team is comprised of entity controllers maintaining the P&L and Balance Sheets of 70+ legal entities in the UK and across Europe as well as the EMEA consolidated results under US GAAP. This includes detailed analytics and monthly commentary as well as quarterly board reports and regulatory returns and annual statutory accounts under local GAAP. The Controller has oversight over the Global Transfer Pricing function ensuring that the Tax policy is executed correctly.
EMEA Revenue Controller
The EMEA Revenue Controller will manage a large team of approximately 25 staff and will report to the International Director of Accounting and will be responsible for the accurate and timely booking of all net revenues within the EMEA region under US GAAP. The team will be comprised of resources dedicated to the Mutual Funds and Separate Accounts account revenue streams as well as the Billing function, and will include accounting for gross revenues and retrocession's for over 10 different mutual fund ranges.

Who we're looking for
The successful candidate will preferably have a background within fund management though this is not essential. They will have strong line management experience and strong accountancy skills.

What's on offer
