Job Description

Job Function:

  • Maintain and Develop assigned Key Accounts as per set objectives and targets
  • Manage and maintain account portfolios within GDP standards.
  • Manage Key Account portfolio DGM growth and contractual commitments as per the agreed framework
  • To manage QHSE & other related requirements (including Pharma / Healthcare related - example WHO GDP /
  • Supplier / Customer audits, Quality Technical Agreements) as defined from time to time including internal as well as from the Customers (as required).
  • To Manage, adhere & act in accordance with the responsibilities and authorities to deal with Pharma-related quality & operational issues within the company and with the Customer (as required).
  • To deliver increased gross margin from existing global and key strategic customers by account development in line with the budgeted growth of the company
  • To understand and articulate the companies compliment of services and solutions to potential and existing customers
  • In charge of specific communication tasks (sponsoring, events…) and participate in business promotion operations
  • To achieve a minimum acceptable customer meetings on a monthly or quarterly basis

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate:

  • Previous experience of working in a regulated healthcare environment
  • GDP experience
  • Previous International logistics experience - all modes (Air, Road, Sea & Courier)
  • Proven sales track record
  • Previous formal sales training preferred
  • Well presented, professional individual with excellent written and verbal language skills
  • Ability to effectively negotiate and build a pricing model for a customer
  • Ability to read and interpret financial information, including budgets, financial statements and P&L data
  • Ability to create and implement strategies
  • Ability to work within a target driven and pressured environment
