Job Description

  • Consolidate group financial statements on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial reports.
  • Collaborate with the finance team on financial planning and budgeting processes.
  • Support internal and external audits.
  • Assist in the preparation of year-end financial statements.
  • Participate in system improvements and implementation projects.
  • Work closely with other departments to improve financial processes and procedures.
  • Maintain knowledge of current accounting standards and regulations.

The Successful Applicant

  • Preferably around 10 years' experience in external audit, consultant firms or in the reporting department of an international Group or in a GBS/ SSC structure
  • Accounting Qualification and/or Degree in Finance/Accounting/Business Administration with strong interest in and affinity with IT and Business processes
  • Additional certification a plus (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, Lean Six Sigma or Equivalent)
  • Full fluency in English, 2nd or 3rd language (German, Dutch, Spanish) would be an advantage
  • Knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA or other ERP
  • BPC , Hyperion or other reporting and consolidation software knowledge is a plus
  • Ability to work independently, productively and as part of a team
  • Outstanding oral and written communication and presentation skills and ability to liaise with Finance and non-Finance professionals at various levels,
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of functional linkages.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Ability to obtain (senior) management buy-in for constructive change
