Operating within a large organisation, the company offers a supportive workplace environment and values efficient financial practices.Job DescriptionManage Supervise and support a team of RTR accountants; provide coaching, training and performance feedbackSupervise day-to-day RTR operations, including journal entries, account reconciliations, fixed assets, intercompany accounting, and general ledger closeLead month-end, quarter-end and year end close activitiesEnsure timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities in accordance with accounting standards.Review and approve journal entries and reconciliations prepared by the team and other areas of the businessEstablish a strong relationship within group finance and other financial functions to support them with accounting related questionsEnsure effective use of SAP and participate in projects to drive improvements; drive process improvements and automation within the RTR function to enhance efficiency and reduce manual workSupervise the preparation of statutory financial statements in accordance with local requirements in IrelandEnsure compliance with internal controls and support internal and external audits.Ensure Standard Operating Procedures are up to dateMonitor KPIs, analyse performance, and implement corrective actions as neededAct as the point of contact for finance and business stakeholdersThe Successful ApplicantA successful R2R Team Lead should have:A strong academic background in accounting, finance, or a related field.Proven expertise in record-to-report processes within the FMCG industry.Demonstrated leadership skills and experience managing a team.Excellent knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards.Proficiency in accounting software and financial analysis tools.
