Job Description

  • Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Maintain and review General Ledger integrity
  • Analyse GL accounts and perform monthly budget variance reviews
  • Complete monthly reconciliations and consolidate results in Oracle HFM
  • Manage subledgers and ensure compliance across all entities
  • Prepare and submit VAT returns for multiple entities; act as the main VAT contact for Ireland and UK
  • Maintain accurate company accounts, books, and records for all transactions and assets
  • Support statutory reporting and perform additional duties as required

The Successful Applicant

A successful Accounting Manager should have:

  • A strong educational background in Accounting, Finance, or a related field and relevant qualification.
  • Proven expertise in cost accounting
  • Experience within the manufacturing industry
  • Proficiency in accounting software and financial systems. Oracle HFM ideally
  • USGAAP and Sox experience
  • Knowledge of VAT returns
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
