Job Description

  • Manage and oversee financial control processes across the EU region.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations.
  • Prepare, review, and present financial reports to senior management.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support financial planning and strategy.
  • Analyse financial data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals remotely.
  • Work closely with external auditors during financial audits.

The Successful Applicant

A successful EU Financial Controller should have:

  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • 6+ years in a senior finance leadership role (Financial Controller or equivalent).
  • Strong technical accounting background with solid US GAAP knowledge.
  • Experience managing multi-entity, multi-currency European operations.
  • Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent).
  • Advanced Excel skills and ERP experience (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle preferred).
  • Proven ability to lead teams and deliver results in dynamic environments
