Job Description
- Manage and oversee financial control processes across the EU region.
- Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations.
- Prepare, review, and present financial reports to senior management.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments to support financial planning and strategy.
- Analyse financial data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals remotely.
- Work closely with external auditors during financial audits.
The Successful Applicant
A successful EU Financial Controller should have:
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- 6+ years in a senior finance leadership role (Financial Controller or equivalent).
- Strong technical accounting background with solid US GAAP knowledge.
- Experience managing multi-entity, multi-currency European operations.
- Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent).
- Advanced Excel skills and ERP experience (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle preferred).
- Proven ability to lead teams and deliver results in dynamic environments
