About Our Client
Our client is a growing FMCG business based in Co. Wicklow seeking a commercially minded professional to support operational and finance improvement projects across the business. The role will focus on Business Central optimisation, process enhancement, reporting improvements, and providing practical support to both finance and operational teams. You will collaborate with stakeholders across Ireland and the UK, helping to drive efficiencies and support continued business growth.
Job Description
- Lead and continuously improve operational processes across customer service, supply chain, warehousing, logistics and finance support.
- Own and optimise Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, driving data accuracy, reporting improvements and digital transformation initiatives.
- Manage customer onboarding and operational readiness for major retail accounts including Tesco, Dunnes, Aldi and Circle K.
- Coordinate forecasting, inventory management and supply planning to ensure excellent product availability and service levels.
- Drive order-to-cash excellence, improving order accuracy, delivery performance, invoicing and customer issue resolution.
- Support commercial performance through pricing controls, trade spend tracking, margin management and financial process improvements.
- Provide day-to-day leadership and support to the Irish operations team while working closely with UK Finance, Operations and Supply Chain teams.
The Successful Applicant
- Proven experience within FMCG, food, consumer goods, retail supply, or distribution environments
- Experience managing operational processes across supply chain, finance, customer operations or logistics
- Strong ERP experience (Business Central, SAP, Dynamics, NetSuite or similar)
- Track record of driving operational improvements and business transformation initiatives
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience working with major retail customers
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Desirable
- Experience supporting Tesco, Dunnes Stores, Aldi, Circle K or similar retail customers
- Exposure to finance support, trade spend or commercial operations
- Experience implementing systems improvements or digital transformation projects
- Warehouse and logistics management experience
